What domain names can I register, and how much do they cost?
Milestone Web offers the following domain types for registration. All domain names must be registered for a minimum of two years, up to a maximum of ten, with the exception of .uk domains, which must be re-registered every two years.

How do I register a domain name?
Check the domain name you wish is available. Use the facility on the domains page. If not, try another option, or variation.
Once you’ve identified which domain you want, fill out our order form and submit your order. We’ll be in touch as soon as your domain is registered.
Don’t forget to say how long you’d like to register your domain for. All domains must be registered for at least 2 years. .uk domains must be re-registered every two years. All other domains can be registered up to a maximum of 10 years.

How long does it take to register a domain name?
On average, domains take between 24 and 72 hours to become active. We will contact you once your domain is set up. If you have selected additional services, such as hosting and Site Builder, we will contact you with all your account details within 5 working days.

Why can't I buy a domain name that has expired?
When a domain name expires, it is not always immediately available for registration. Dependant upon the registrar, they may keep hold of the domain for several months before releasing it for registration to the general public.

How do I renew my domain name?
When it’s time to renew your domain name, we will contact you with a reminder and payment options.

How often do I need to renew my domain name?
In the case of .uk domain names, you will need to renew every two years. All other domain names will need to be renewed between two and ten years, dependant upon how long you previously registered them for.

Do you offer domain parking?
Yes. Domain parking with email and web forwarding is free once you’ve registered your domain name with Milestone. For a small extra fee you can add webmail to your domain parking. For current prices, please take a look at our hosting packages.
